We are looking to recruit a number of solicitors across different disciplines to support ScottishPower’s business to deliver a record number of green energy infrastructure projects, all of which are integral to delivering the UK’s ambitious Net Zero targets. Due to an exciting period of growth, we are looking to recruit solicitors to join our legal team based in our Glasgow HQ.
Working in our Strategic Projects and Transactions Legal team, you will be working on all corporate legal matters across the business of ScottishPower. As an integral part of the ScottishPower legal team, you will be responsible for leading, influencing and managing, under the coordination of the Head of Legal, corporate legal support in respect of mergers and acquisitions and all strategic commercial projects and transactions.
You will have the opportunity to develop and lead on the legal aspects of corporate projects (including, but not limited to, offshore wind and green hydrogen) and be a focal point and subject matter expert on mergers and acquisitions and strategic commercial projects and transactions. This role will entail regular contact and building working relationships with senior managers across the ScottishPower and wider Iberdrola business on some of the biggest projects within the ScottishPower/Iberdrola group.
