Joining ScottishPower you will lead on the acquisition of complex land rights for strategic renewable and network infrastructure projects, management of contractual lease obligations, whilst managing a varied  and extensive property portfolio. This is a fantastic opportunity to join ScottishPower and make a positive impact for our ScottishPower Renewables and ScottishPower Energy Networks businesses as well as contributing towards Net Zero targets. 

  


What you’ll be doing 
Joining our General Services team, you’ll be supporting the delivery of our Estates Acquisition and Management Services across all UK Scottish Power Group assets including owned, leased, and third-party rights over land to achieve maximum value and contribute to the overall Estates strategy & delivery. By taking responsibility for individual objectives, you’ll provide timely and professional advice, information, and guidance on a wide range of property matters.
In these exciting roles you’ll make a real impact for the business through the preparation of necessary business cases for approval of SP Businesses, evaluate, develop and determine solutions to complex property issues. 
 

What you’ll bring 
Along with extensive experience in the acquisition and disposal of property assets and the management of a diverse portfolio to maximise its value, you will be educated to degree level in a land related discipline and where applicable a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. With considerable project management experience dealing with major property projects, you hold strong stakeholder management experience and can communicate and influence key stakeholders across the business, along with external partners. 


You can comprehend technical information and translate this into requirements for land agreements and hold strong negotiation skills to deliver deals effectively and without setting any adverse precedents, and you can manage your workload to meet tight deadlines, and prioritise business needs to ensure targets are met, with an appreciation of sensitivity of issues and ability to respond by appropriately prioritising workload. Have strong verbal and written communications skills and can communicate with and influence people at all levels.
