Purpose

The Commercial Reporting Analyst will be responsible for maintaining and developing robust and insightful commercial and operational reporting for the ScottishPower fleet team whilst proactively driving continuous improvement to ensure that all reporting remains fit for purpose. The role holder will have a key role in the GSUK Commercial Operations Team in driving business performance and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

Responsible for developing various monitoring tools to track and identify trends in key performance data and activities, pulling the information together and creating reports that can be effectively used by senior managers within General Services and the operational business units.

Managing the production of the monthly executive reports for Energy Networks, the Management of Road Risk Steering Group, and Iberdrola (including the complex Fleet Global Scorecard), ensuring the accuracy and consistency of data through checking and validation.

Responsible for the analysis of commercial and operational data, supporting business decision making through the efficient provision and interpretation of commercial data and insights, and effective communication of portfolio performance.

Assisting with planning and forecasting for budgets and targets, developing tools to robustly track contract spend against budget and Iberdrola Operating Committee approval.

Responsible for the management and maintenance of a fleet delivery programme tool, gathering data from all lease providers and converters into one MS Project Programme

Skills and Requirements

We are looking for individuals educated to degree level in financial, business or analytical discipline or equivalent experience working in a commercial or analytical role with in-depth knowledge and experience of SAP.

You will need to prove experience in liaising with multiple parties including Operational Managers and Commercial Managers and be capable of producing accurate, relevant work to tight deadlines.

To be successful in a role you will need to demonstrate:

  • Strong IT / systems knowledge and adept experience of data analysis, interpretation and prioritisation
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills to include segmentation of commercial data
  • Experience of project reporting and control, business planning, and budgetary control

What we offer

This is a Permanent contract. Salary for this role will be from £27600 per annum.
