OPERATIONAL CONTROLLER (m/f/d)

The Operational Controller assists Dep. Site Manager and Lead SAP ( VEFK ) with preparation and excution of low and high voltage switch operations, marine operations and permit to work system of the wind farms in cluding offshore substations via remote control or from offshore.

LOCATION
Sassnitz; Mukran Port; Germany

WORKING PATTERN
Permanent; full time; 14/ 14 rotation incl. call on duty periods during onshift

RESPOSIBILITIES AND FUNCTIONS

• Execution of LV and MV switching operations in accordance with European-, country- and company specific safety rules from Sassnitz Contro Centre or at offshore assets
• Managing radiotraffic between vessels, helicopter, workforce, emergency service providers
• Liaise with emergency Coordination Centre and all emergency response services
• First point of contact with grid operator and power trader
• Vessel and people tracking, including cargo handling for all offshore activities
• Monitoring of weather conditions and vessel rtraffic inside and in close vicinity of the offshore assets
• Operating permit to work system, checking RAMS, certificates and qualifications, train subcontractors and internal staff

MANDATORY SKILLS

• Sucessfully completed vocational education as electrician or electrical engineer
• Fluent English and German skills, verbal and written
• Medical fitness and willingness to work offshore ( only partly )
• Minimum 3 years of experience in operating LV and HV equipment, sub stations or wind turbines
• Exellent IT and software skills, familiar with Microsoft 365 products
• Become certified as Senior Authorised Person ( Anlagenverantwortlicher ) in accordance with EU legislation and company specific safety rules
• Ability to travel in Germany and abroad
