O&M BOP TECHNICIAN (m/f/d)

MISSION
The BoP technician will be in charge of inspections, maintenance and repairworks at on and offshore structures like wind turbines, offshore foundations and substations.

LOCATION
Sassnitz; Mukran Port; Germany

WORKING PATTERN
Permanent; full time; 14/ 14 rotation

RESPOSIBILITIES AND FUNCTIONS

• Inspection, maintenance and repair of electrical, hydraulical and mecheanical componentsat all offshore structures in accordance with European, national and company safety standards, norms and regullations
• Statutory inspections, annual checks of safety equipment
• Check and repair of cranes
• Check and repair of electrical components
• Trouble shooting and repair at on- and offshore structures (incl. onshore facilities)
• Guiding and supervision of subcontractors
• Execution of quality checks and audits
• Support at generation or review of risk assessments and method statements
• Maintenance and repair of tools and spares
• Support of warehouse manager with administration and commissioning of spare parts
• Reinforcement of the team at fire protection and fire fighting drills and exercises ( qualification as HLO/ HAD )
• Provision of daily reports reflecting the executed works

MANDATORY SKILLS

• Sucessfully completed vocational education preferable as electrician, industrial mechatronic or education with mechanical or hydraulical bachground
• Minimum 2 years experince in one of the above mentioned disciplins, preferably offshore
• Fluent English and German skills, verbal and written
• Medical fitness and willingness to work offshore
• Ability to travel in Germany and abroad
• Familiar with MS Office standard software

DESIRABLE SKILLS

• Switching authorisation 33/66 kV
• Experience in operations of cranes
• GWO modules for offshore works
