Manager - Real Estate Projects

Manages various programs and projects within the Real Estate Department with objectives of timely and cost effective completion

  • Provides leadership on various programs and projects.  The focus of this position will be to manage and coordinate projects and/or programs associated with the Real Estate Services Department including, organizations Capital Investment Program.
  • Prepares plans and budgets for programs and projects.  Monitors progress against plans and reports to Real Estate Director.
  • Coordinates efforts, if applicable, to cross-functional projects. Holds regular program/project status meetings with Director.
  • Lead in accomplishing day-to-day goals and provides expertise and decision making to internal and external project resources
  • Sets goals and direction for project with project timeline
  • Proactive approach to overseeing work accomplishments and takes action to ensure budgets and deadlines are achieved.
  • Considers innovative ways to promote automation and efficiencies in day to day work streams.
  • Provides recommendations on policies, procedures and goals; implements approved new/revised processes and procedures as needed
  • Responsible for overall management and control of project/program
  • Attendance to project/program meetings; provides and presents reports as required.


Skills and Requirements

Education & Experience Required:

Bachelors Degree with a minimum of 3 years relevant experience in managing Real Estate/Right of Way projects or 7 years demonstrated experience as a lead in Real Estate/Right of Way related projects, including but not limited to overseeing external and internal resources, identifying and managing project scope, budget control, creating and implementing local and global process standards and tools, training and reporting
