Lead Analyst - Sundry Billing Admin


Rochester, NY, US



The main focus of the position includes, but is not limited to:         

Work collaboratively or independently within the department, business area or the enterprise to monitor and analyze various aspects and components or sundry performance to identify gaps and opportunities.

Develop, implement and maintain tools and processes for collecting, manipulating and organizing critical data to be used in performing complex analyses of past, present and projected performance.

Support the process improvement and integration efforts of the organization.

Assist in the development of departmental or business area metrics and strategies.

Analyze and compile data for compliance with the AVANGRID Other Income of Third Parties Standard Procedure.             


MAJOR ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Scope of work – range of responsibilities):                                      

1.  Develops, maintains and updates documentation including Business Process Procedures (BPPs), reference materials, training materials, etc.

2.  Provides on-going end user training and support as required.

3.  Status reporting, risk/issue assessment/management and escalation/resolution are essential.                                    

4.  Collaborates with the global team, manages challenges facing the team and participates in the development strategy to address gaps.

5.  Damage Claims reporting and analysis.                                            

6.  Manages Administration projects related to continuous improvement.

Skills and Requirements


Education & Experience Required:                                        

• Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 3 years relevant experience preferred.  Associates Degree with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience required.                             

•Must thoroughly understand ERP systems.  SAP experience preferred.

•Extensive Microsoft Excel skills



• Proven analytical and problem solving abilities.                                     

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.                                          

• Advanced proficiency with MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Access, Power Point, etc.)

• Demonstrated ability to effectively manage projects and multiple priorities. 

• Demonstrated ability to effectively interface with all levels of the organization.
