Senior Manager - Source Inspection & Logistics

Purpose
The Senior Manager – Source Inspection & Logistics will plan, coordinate, organize, and oversee activities involved in the production and delivery of material and equipment needed for Avangrid Renewables onshore solar and wind projects. Duties include quality management, logistics, and material management activities to ensure compliance with specifications and timely delivery to projects. Equipment supply includes wind turbines, photovoltaic (PV) panels, trackers, inverters, battery energy storage systems, and main power transformers.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate equipment source inspection
- Monitor logistics and transportation to site
- Expedite suppliers and report equipment fabrication and delivery status
- Manage equipment importation as required
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned
Skills and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or Engineering
- 7+ years of Supply Chain, Engineering, or Project Management experience
- Ability to travel 25%
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in a relevant field
- Professional Certification in Supply Chain or Contract Management
- Experience in development and/or construction of wind and solar projects
- Knowledge of importation processes and regulations including Withhold Release Orders (WRO), Uyghur Forced Labor Prevention Act (UFLPA), Antidumping and Countervailing Duties (AC/CVD), and Section 301 and 201 of the Trade Act of 1974,
- Skills utilizing Microsoft Office, Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS), ERP Systems, and Oracle Primavera P6 or OPC
