Lead Analyst-Consolidation and financial Reporting

MAJOR ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Scope of work - range of responsibilities):


1. Manage as user BPC tool (AGR software for Consolidation) and as viewer SAP (AGR software for stand-alone companies).

2. Confirm the validity and the quality of the financial figures of AGR from a consolidation point of view.

3. Monthly reporting under International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) to the parent company (IBERDROLA), with explanations of the Income Statement and Balance Sheet variances.

4. Quarterly reporting under U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (USGAAP) for SEC filing with explanations of the Income Statement and Balance Sheet variances.

5. Ad hoc activities related to new and existing projects.

Skills and Requirements



Education & Experience Required:


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required
  • Accounting experience required, minimum 3-5 years.
  • Consolidation and financial reporting experience required, minimum 3-5 years
  • Experience in preparation or audit of financial statements preferred
  • Knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS accounting standards required
  • Experience with consolidation system required, BPC preferred
  • Experience with SAP preferred
  • Strong analytical and problem solving ability required
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written required
