Purpose

To use a full range of administrative and technical knowledge and expereince to assist and support Management in meeting the objuectives and responsibilitiesof the Division, and to assist the team to achieve and exceed establish goals. This position will also organize, compile, summarize and analyze data/statistics and produce a variety of reports.  Update, maintain and ensure accuracy of computerized and other data.  Perform mathematical calculations and manipulate statistical data.  Develop presentations and produce documents containing complex technical and/or legal terminology.  Maintain confidentially of all written and sensitive discussions.

Responsibilities

1. Responsible for Purchasing and Accounts Payable to create purchase requests, purchase orders and review and process invoices in the company computer system (SAP)..

2. Act as the delegated buyer working with purchasing on smaller contracts, will coordinate with vendors to obtain bids for equipment, material, and/or services, evaluate bids with Management to select a bidder then work with purchasing to create the PR and PO.

3. Resopnsible for collecting, reviewing and entering timesheet information for the Divisional employees into the computer system.  Also, will run reports from the time to time as needed.

4. Responsible for working with Itron meter reading system in Greenwich.  This will consist of obtaining daily meter reading information from the computer system.  The use of the automated meter reading hardware and software and the collection of meter reads via the meter reading vehicle and the mobile collector system.

5. Will work with Management and Union personnel and complete various projects as directed by Supervision.

Our Selection Process

1. Associate degree in Business Administration, IT, ore related discipline required.

2. New graduates are welcome. Up to 3 years of business-related experience a plus.

3. Must be able to adapt to evolving work environments where duites can vary due to changes in the business process.

4. Must posses strong computer skills, including Microsoft, Outloook, Excel, and Word.

5. Prefer a general understanding of financial processes as AP, Payroll, and Purchasing.

6. Must have strong organizational skills, be a self-motivated and result oriented.

7. Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills.

8. Must have the ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks.

9. Must have valid driver's license and clean driving record.
